Configuring an incremental report in Sigma Studio

To configure an incremental report in Sigma Studio, perform the following steps:

1. On the home page of Sigma Studio, click Create > Report.

2. Enter a unique ID in the Report Id field, e.g. Transactions.

2. Click the selected column in the Select Filterable Columns field to configure incremental reports, e.g. TRANSACTION_DATE.

   Note

1. For configuring incremental reports in Sigma Studio, you must select the filterable column with the data type of Date, DateTime or Integer. If you select the filterable column with other data types such as string or float, then you will not be able to configure incremental reports.

2. In the Linked Widget Configuration pop-up, enable the Is Mandatory toggle option to set if you want to assign the selected date filter (TRANSACTION_DATE) as a mandatory filter for the configured report, then you can enable the Is Mandatory Filter toggle option. However, the Is Mandatory Filter toggle is an optional field.

2. Enable the Is Incremental toggle option to set the configured report as an incremental report.

2. Click the Increase By Unit drop-down list and select the time period of your choice, e.g. Hour.
   
   1. Specify the number of minutes, hours or days in the Increase By Value
   field.
   1. As the Hour time unit was selected in the Increase By Unit drop-down list, the number of hours is specified in the Increase By Value field, for example: 1.

   2. Specify the delay time for the configured incremental report in the Delay Time field, e.g. 10.

      It is mandatory that the Delay Time should be specified in seconds.
