  1. Click Create Connection.



    The Create New Connection page appears.



  2. In the Create New Connection page, click JNDI in the Connection Type field.
  3. Provide a unique name for the connection in the Connection Name field.

  4. Click the database used for your application. By default, Oracle appears selected.

  5. Enter the valid JNDI in the JNDI field. Refer the database.config property file to find the JNDI of your application server.
  6. Click Test to validate whether the connection configuration information is valid.
    If the connection is successful, the following message appears:


  7. Click Save.

    When you try to exit the Connection screen, before saving the configured JNDI connection, a warning pop-up message appears, as shown in the following screen shot:

    • Click Cancel, if you do not want to exit the Connection screen.
    • Click Ok, if you want to exit the Connection screen.


    The JNDI connection is established with the provided information. If the connection is successful, the following message appears:
