The failed reports and the failing scheduled reports in Sigma Application can be re-triggered by the client admin user in Sigma Studio.




  1. You can choose a date range from the From and To date fields to view the failed reports and failing report schedules

    Select an existing corporate customer, e.g. CTS.

    The data of the selected corporate customer, e.g. CTS, appears in read-only mode.

    1. Click the Client lookup field and select the corporate client or customer of your choice.
    2. Click the Report Name lookup field and select the report of your choice.
    3. Click the Scheduler Name lookup field and select the report schedule of your choice.
    4. Click the Scheduler Reference lookup field and select the provided reference key of a particular report schedule of your choice.
    5. To perform the search based on your selection, click the Search option.

  2.  In the Re-Run report tab, click the checkbox, adjacent to a failed report for re-triggering the failed report.

    Note

    You can even select multiple failed reports at the same time. To select the multiple failed reports, click the checkbox on the top-left side to select all the failed reports on the current web page.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Re-Run option to re-trigger the failed report.

    Note

    Using the Re-Run option, you can even re-trigger multiple failed reports at the same time. Using the multiple checkbox option, if you have selected the failed reports on the current web page, you can proceed to click the Re-Run option to re-trigger all of the failed reports at the same time.

    A confirmation message appears, indicating the re-trigger of the failed report, as shown in the following screen shot:

  4. Click Ok.
  5. Select the Re-Running tab to view the details and the status of the re-triggered report.

  6. Select the Maximum Capacity exceeded Reports tab to view the details and status of the failed reports, as the cause of the failure had occurred owing to the presence of humongous volumes of records and data sets.

    Note

    You can specify the maximum number of records for reports in the Sigmadatabaseconfig.properties file within SigmaResources.jar on the Sigma Application WAR folder. The number of records need to be specified in the QUERY_MAX_NO_OF_ROWS property. For instance, let's consider that If you want to set the maximum number of rows with the two-lakh limit, then specify QUERY_MAX_NO_OF_ROWS = 200000 in the Sigmadatabaseconfig.properties file. But ensure that your system has the ability to handle the reports configured with large volumes of records around the two-lakh mark, as provided in the mentioned instance.
