The subsequent step after instantiating the configuration manager is to define the application layout. An application layout is the equivalent of the overall site layout.
The layout consists of the following three layers:
- Application Header
- Workspace Container
- Application Footer
Following are the different types of layouts supported by Canvas:
- Tab
- Card
- Fisheye
- Extended Card
- Table Top
- Menu
In Tablet and Mobile devices, all the application layouts are represented as Sliding Menus with its own header and footer; the workspace in the first positioned will remain open.Device Compatibility
