Content Comparison

Let's assume that an IT and Operations maker user needs to create a database connection in eMACH-Sigma Studio. Perform the following steps to create a database connection as an IT and Operations maker user in eMACH-Sigma Studio:

1. On the home page of of eMACH-Sigma Studio, click Manage > Connectors.

   Note

   Apart from database connections, the IT and Operations maker user can create data sources, data source aggregators, role mapping and criteria. It is essential that the creation requests of the IT and Operations maker user needs to be approved by the IT and Operations checker user. The IT and Operations maker user can view or edit the created database connection or any other listed Studio component only after getting an approval from the IT and Operations checker user.

   
   
   
   The Create New Connection screen appears.
   
   
   
   

2. Provide the necessary configuration details for the database connection and then proceed to click Save to save the database connection.

   A confirmation message, indicating the successful submission of the request, appears.
   
   
   
   

3. Click Ok.
