In addition to exporting the metadata of several components at once in SQL format, you can now also export the metadata of several components in JSON format as well.

Steps to export bulk metadata in JSON format:

  1. Select the check-boxes adjacent to the components. For example, the following screen shot shows the several forms selected from the Form Definition List. Image Removed

  2. Click the JSON icon in the top right pane.

A JSON file with the queries for the selected metadata is combined together in a single JSON file and is exported.

In a similar way, you can even export the metadata of other components like Connections, Requests, App Shortcuts, Templates, Custom Form Items and Information Reports in JSON and SQL formats.
