Chart App Configuration
To configure a chart app using App Designer in Sigma Studio, perform the following steps in Sigma Studio:
- Access App Designer and create a column chart widget with the relevant data source (SUMMARY DETAILS DS).
- Click Proceed to configure the column chart widget.
- Click Proceed to configure the column chart widget.
- Click the Columns tab and proceed to drag and drop the relevant columns of STATUS and AVAI_BALANCE to the X and Y Axes respectively.
- If required, click the chart design area to configure the additional chart properties. For instance, the palette colors of the chart can be modified in accordance with your needs and requirements.
- To modify the palette colors of a chart, select Functional from the Category lookup field and choose Palette Colors from the Property lookup field. In the Value text field, enter the color code of your choice, e.g. #FF0000 (Red color). To apply the modified chart palette color, click Apply.

- Click the Save icon to save the column chart widget (Summary Details App).
Report Configuration
To create a simple report with charts as shown in the screenshot, configure the additional steps in Sigma Studio:
Click Template Designer icon while configuring the report in Sigma Studio.
The Template Designer page appears with the list of header and footer options on the left-hand side of the page screen appears with the list of header and footer options on the left side and the list of layout tabs on the right -hand side of the pageside.Note The Template Designer feature is only applicable for for the PDF format.
- Select the type of field from the left -hand side of the page. In this example, the Report Header field is selected.
- Select chart layout the Chart Layout ( ) tab on the right -hand side of the page. A list of existing chart apps appears on this tab.
- Drag and drop the created chart app (e.g. Summary Details App) within the design area.
- Click Save icon to save the template designer configurations.
- Proceed with the other configurations for the report. Refer Configuring a Simple Report for more information on configuring a simple report.
