Sigma is an online reporting application built using Canvas Technology platform. Using Canvas Studio enables you to control how reports are enabled for end users. Using Sigma, you can create canned and adhoc reports over data from a data source. The data source can be a database or a REST web service.

Canvas Studio enables Admin users to build:

  • Simple Data Structures using data source

  • Complex Data Structures using Data Builder

  • Simple Reports

  • Complex Reports sections using Templates

  • Complex Reports using Sub-reports

Canvas Studio enables Admin users to control:

  • What data or reports can be accessed by end users using Entitlement

  • Maintenance of generated reports

  • Execution of EOD reports through REST or online

Sigma application provides the following features for MIS reports:

  • Customizing of reports

  • Selecting export formats

  • Grouping data

  • Applying filters

  • Choosing notification or delivery mechanism

  • Scheduling reports

  • Organizing reports

  • Merging multiple reports into single report
