To create a report with the fetched widget data for the applied procedure parameters, perform the following steps in Sigma Studio:

  1. On the home page of Sigma Studio, click Manage > Report.



    The Information Report page appears.



  2. Provide the necessary configuration details for the report, as shown in the following screen shot:

    The Data Source Name is selected as the NEW DS, which was configured as the Parent Data Source, while the relevant stored procedure data source of SAMPLE PROCEDURE DS is selected as the Pre Hook Procedure DS for the configured report.




  3. Click the Default Configuration tab to provide the default and additional configurations for the applied procedure parameters.




  4. Click the Primary Ds Procedure Parameters  icon to assign additional configurations for the applied procedure parameters.  



  5. In the Procedure Parameters Configuration pop-up window, select the appropriate app or widget (e.g. DETAILS_APP) from the Load data from Widget lookup field and choose the appropriate key and description columns from the Key Column and Description Column lookup fields.

    1. Select the filter criteria of your choice from the Apply Mandatory Filter As drop-down list, e.g. equals.

    The applied procedure parameters are FD (From Date), TD (To Date) and CUR (Currency). The parameter values for the listed procedure parameters are fetched from the widget of DETAILS_APP. The equals filter criteria is applied for the listed procedure parameters. By making use of the Apply Mandatory Filter As field, the equals filter criteria is applied as a mandatory data filter for the listed procedure parameters. However, the Apply Mandatory Filter As is an optional field. 




    Once you apply the procedure parameter configurations, a toast message appears, indicating a successful save of the applied procedure parameter configurations.



  6. Click Save to save the configured report.



    A confirmation message, indicating a successful save of the report, appears.



  7. Access the relevant report, e.g. PROCEDURE REPORT in the Sigma Application and click Run to generate the report.

    Provide the relevant parameter values for the applied procedure parameters. For instance, the FD (From Date) is selected as 02/02/2022 (MM/DD/YYYY format), while the TD (To Date) is selected as 02/03/2022 (MM/DD/YYYY format) and the CUR (Currency) is selected as INR.   8. When the report generation status is displayed as Published to Repository, click the Download icon  to download the generated report.



    The fetched data of the PROCEDURE REPORT is displayed in the PDF file, as shown in the following screen shot:
