You must have installed Node.js before proceeding with this procedure.

To install Cordova, perform the following steps:

Open the command prompt and enter the following command:
```
npm install –g cordova
```
Cordova gets installed.
To check the version of Cordova installed, enter the following command in the command prompt:
```
cordova –-version
```
Continue with the Install JDK on Windows section.
