The File Import feature could modify and alter the database with the ease of importing a spread sheet and publishing it. This could raise security issues especially when working with production database. You can handle this situation by specifying the database schema that you want to alter in the CT_FW_FILEIMPORT_ DATASOURCE key in the databaseconfig property file.
This data source can be mapped when you create Apps using App Designer and create grids, charts and other representations to display the data in your application. To create an app using App Designer and map the data source, please refer Creating App.
