Sending Reports/Report Group to FTP Server

For sending reports/report group to the FTP server from Sigma Application, perform the following steps:

  1. In Sigma Application, access the relevant report, e.g. HIGHSCORE REPORT.



    1. Ensure that the SFTP option is enabled and select the FTP data source with the mentioned server path from the SFTP Path drop-down list, e.g. FTP PF DS, PATH = Newfolder.

      You can even select any of the other configured FTP data sources from the SFTP Path drop-down list, so as to send your report to the mentioned FTP server path for the selected FTP data source of your choice.




    2. Proceed to click the Run option to generate the report.

      For detailed information on generating the reports in Sigma Application, refer Generating a Report. Once the report gets generated, the generated report can be found in the relevant server path, which was specified as the relative server path, while configuring the FTP data source in Sigma Studio.




      The HIGHSCORE REPORT XLS file can be found in the provided FTP server path or the Relative Server Path (e.g. Newfolder), as shown in the following screen shot:



    3. Access the same report (e.g. HIGHSCORE REPORT) and provide the sub-directory or sub-folder name in the Sub Path field, e.g. NewFolderSub.

      The Sub Path is an optional field and it indicates the sub-folder or sub-directory present within the configured FTP relative server path or the main folder path. It is essential that the configured FTP relative server path or the main folder, (e.g. Newfolder) comprises a sub-folder or sub-directory. (e.g. NewFolderSub). In the provided example, NewFolderSub is specified as the Sub Path for the Newfolder server path, selected from the SFTP Path drop-down list.




    4. Click Run to generate the report.



      The HIGHSCORE REPORT XLS file can be found in the sub-path or sub-folder (e.g. NewFolderSub), on the provided FTP server path or the Relative Server Path (e.g. Newfolder), as shown in the following screen shot:
