To create pivot reports, perform the following steps in Sigma Studio:

  1. Click Create > Report.


The Information Report page appears with the Report Maintenance tab as default.

  1. Enter a unique ID for the report in the Report Id field.
  2. Enter a display name for the report in the Report Name field.
  3. Click the Data Source Name field and select a datasource. Refer Creating Data Connections to create a database or webservice connection and datasource.
  4. Click the Select Allowed Formats field and select the formats in which the report can be generated. The following formats are supported: CSV, DOCX, HTML, PDF, XLS, and XML.
  5. Select the Pivot Report checkbox adjacent to the Select Allowed Format field.
  6. Once you select the Pivot Report checkbox, an alignment dropdown appears where you can select the report table alignment.
  7. Select the column level area column(s) for the pivot report in Select Columns to Display field. For example, in the Summary Pivot Report, the ACCOUNT_NO is the column-level data.
  8. Select the row level area column(s) for the pivot report in Select Groupable Columns field. For example, in the Summary Pivot Report, the Status is the row-level data.
  9. Select the value level area column(s) for the pivot report in Select Value Columns field. For example, in the Summary Pivot Report, the AVAI_BALANCE is the value-level data.

  1. Click Save.

A confirmation message appears.

  1. Click Ok for the message.
