The newly introduced features in Sigma Studio, as part of this release, are listed as follows:

Select Multiple Formats for Reports

By default, Sigma offers multiple formats for the reports to be generated in the end application. While creating the report in Sigma Studio, you can select multiple formats for your reports. CSV, DOCX, HTML, PDF, XLS and XML are the supported formats in Sigma Studio.

Select Specific Columns for Reports

Sigma enables you to select the columns of your choice for the configured reports. Based on your needs and requirements, you can select specific columns, fetched from the data source to be displayed in your reports. The option, "Select Columns to Display" enables you to select the columns of your choice for your reports.

Use Stored Procedures for Reports

Sigma enables you to make use of stored procedures to create reports. You can create stored procedures as data sources for your reports by means of simple and efficient configurations. The Pre-Hook Procedure DS option in Sigma Studio enables you to select the appropriate stored procedure for your report.

Configure Data Entitlements

Sigma enables you to configure data entitlements for your reports. The user groups are simply termed as data entitlements and you can specify the user group of your choice as data entitlements, enabling the selected user group to access the configured report. The Data Entitlements are defined as Product, Sub-Product and Function Codes in Sigma Studio. You can create your own set of user groups as data entitlements with simple and effective configurations in Sigma Studio.

Filter, Group and Sort Data for Reports

Sigma enables you to filter, group and sort the data displayed in your reports. In Sigma Studio, the options of Select Filterable Columns, Select Groupable Columns and Select Sortable Columns enable you to apply filters, grouping and sorting for the selected columns of your choice in your report.

Configure Custom File Names and Directories for Reports

You can add custom file names and directories to your reports in a viable way. The Report Custom File Name option in Sigma Studio enables you to provide customized file names for your reports. You can provide the file name of your choice for your report. The Publisher Relative Path option in Sigma Studio enables you to provide the directory path of your choice.

Sigma Application Features

The configured reports in Sigma Studio can be viewed and generated in Sigma Application. With the applied parameters, the configured reports can be generated and downloaded in the applied formats in Sigma Application.

Generate and Download Reports

The configured reports with the applied parameters can be generated and downloaded in the Sigma Application. The Customize tab in Sigma Application enables you to generate the reports in a simple and effective manner. You can download the generated report in the applied formats, which were configured during the creation of the report in Sigma Studio. You can find the list of generated reports in the Generated Reports section in Sigma Application.

Grouping of Reports

Sigma enables you to group multiple reports into a single report. While generating the report in Sigma Application, you can make use of the Create New Group feature to group different reports into a single report for your business purposes and requirements. The Multi-Sheet option enables you to generate the report with multiple sheets, based on the selected format of the report in the Sigma Application.

Password Protection

You can secure your reports with enhanced password protection. By default, Sigma provides different password patterns which enable you to secure your reports with utmost significance. You can easily create complex password patterns with the Password Protection feature in Sigma Studio.

Add Images and Logos to Reports

You can add custom images and logos to your reports in a simple way. The Template Designer feature in Sigma Studio enables you to add images to your reports. You can place the image in the desired position of your report. Based on your needs and requirements, you can even place your image on both the header and footer areas of the report.

Displaying User and System Details in Reports

With the default system parameter configurations, as part of the Template Designer feature in Sigma Studio, the user and system details can easily be showcased in reports. While generating the reports in the Sigma Application, the user and system details will automatically get displayed in your reports.
