20.1 Release Notes
Intellect Sigma is a Cloud Native Web Reporting product powered by the Canvas Technology Platform. Sigma enables the end-users to generate "on-the-fly" reports just by configuration. Using Sigma, you can generate reports in multiple formats, such as PDF, HTML, DOCX, XML, CSV, and XLS.

Features in Sigma Studio
The newly introduced features in Sigma Studio, as part of this release, are listed as follows:
Contacts and Contact Groups
You can create individual user contacts and separate user contact groups with simple and efficient configurations in Sigma Studio. You can easily create a separate contact group with different contacts, enabling you to send your configured reports to a particular contact group. You can even create a contact group with custom or typical email addresses of specific users by making use of the List of Emails option in Sigma Studio. Once you access the Sigma Application, you can send the configured reports to the individual user contacts and different contact groups of your choice.

Notification Templates
You can create notification templates to showcase a template for the notifications displayed to the users on receiving the reports through any of the different channels such as Inbox, SMS or Mail. The design of the notification template can easily be configured in accordance with your needs and requirements. You can specify the structure of the notification template for a particular channel using simple configurations.

Report Groups
You can create report groups with simple and effective configurations in Sigma Studio. A report group is a combination of two or more reports which can be grouped together in a single group. Single File, Individual File and Multi Sheet are the three different output options provided for the report group.

Incremental Reports
You can create incremental reports by just making use of simple and efficient configurations in Sigma Studio. Incremental reports are the reports which fetch the data for the particular period of time based on the selected criteria of the particular time or period. Instead of fetching the whole set of data for the report, the new set of data for a selected period of time can be fetched by configuring incremental reports. You can even schedule incremental reports on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis as per your needs and requirements.

Delegation Mode
Sigma enables you to select your different corporate customers with the usage of Delegation Mode. You can create various corporate customers on the basis of your needs and requirements. Once you create your own set of various corporate customers, you can create individual application users for each of your corporate customers. Each of the individual application users associated with their respective corporates can log on to the Sigma Application and view as well as generate or schedule the reports that are assigned to them.

Select File Extension for CSV format
Sigma enables you to to configure a report with a specific file extension of your choice for the CSV format. You can even select a specific delimiter for the CSV format. Delimiters like comma and semicolon pave the way for the listed characters in the data sets to be distinctively separated in a proper manner. You can assign delimiters and choose a specific file extension for the CSV format with simple and effective configurations. Application Users
Sigma enables you to create application or corporate users for specific corporate clients or customers. You can create numerous application users for a corporate customer or client in accordance with your needs and requirements. Adding a New Language in Sigma
You can add a new language in Sigma and you can even configure resource bundle entries using the newly added language in Sigma Studio. You can provide the display names of your choice for the titles and columns in your configured reports with the newly added language in Sigma Studio.

IT Roles
Sigma enables you to assign different roles for the maker, checker and viewer users of an IT and Operations team, thereby enabling the listed maker, checker and viewer users to be assigned with the appropriate accessible roles based on their entitlements. On accessing Sigma Studio, the maker, checker and viewer users can respectively create, approve and view the various Studio components to which they are entitled and it is essential that the approval flow should be initiated, so as to enable the approval privileges for the checker user. Implementation Roles
Sigma enables you to assign different roles for the maker, checker and viewer users of an implementation team, thereby enabling the listed maker, checker and viewer users to be assigned with the appropriate accessible roles based on their entitlements. On accessing Sigma Studio, the maker, checker and viewer users can respectively create, approve and view the various Studio components to which they are entitled and it is essential that the approval flow should be initiated, so as to enable the approval privileges for the checker user. Client Roles
Sigma enables you to assign different roles for the maker, checker and viewer users for your clients or customers, thereby enabling the listed maker, checker and viewer users to be assigned with the appropriate accessible roles based on their entitlements. On accessing Sigma Studio, the maker, checker and viewer users can respectively create, approve and view the various Studio components to which they are entitled and it is essential that the approval flow should be initiated, so as to enable the approval privileges for the checker user. Pivot Reports
You can summarize the report data by creating pivot reports. Sigma Studio enables you to summarize the report data based on the values, filters, rows and columns data. Refer Pivot Reports for detailed information on how to create pivot reports in Sigma Studio.
Password Protection
You can secure your reports with enhanced password protection. By default, Sigma provides different password patterns which enable you to secure your reports with utmost significance. You can easily create complex password patterns with the Password Protection feature in Sigma Studio.

Add Images and Logos to Reports
You can add custom images and logos to your reports in a simple way. The Template Designer feature in Sigma Studio enables you to add images to your reports. You can place the image in the desired position of your report. Based on your needs and requirements, you can even place your image on both the header and footer areas of the report.

Displaying User and System Details in Reports
With the default system parameter configurations, as part of the Template Designer feature in Sigma Studio, the user and system details can easily be showcased in reports. While generating the reports in the Sigma Application, the user and system details will automatically get displayed in your reports.

Delete Entitlements
Sigma enables you to delete the entitlements, which have been assigned to specific roles. Even the created roles can also be deleted based on your needs and requirements. The combination of the mapped entitlements with the Product, Sub-Product and Function Codes can individually be deleted in accordance with your choices.

Enable or Disable Column Headers in CSV Reports
Sigma allows you to enable or disable column headers in CSV reports. Based on your needs and requirements, you can either enable or disable the column headers in the CSV Reports. Specific options have been provided in both Sigma Studio and Sigma Application for enabling or disabling the column headers for the CSV reports.

Fetch Widget Data for Procedure Parameters
Sigma enables you to fetch data from a widget for the applied procedure parameters in reports. Once you configure a report with a stored procedure data source, you can select the data columns from a previously configured widget for the procedure parameters, which are applied to the configured report.

View History for Maker-Checker Requests
Sigma enables you to check the view history of the Maker-Checker requests. All the requests, which are placed by the maker user, can be viewed along with the history of changes to the requests and the data sets of the configured Studio components. The entire view history of the submitted, approved, rejected and pending requests can be viewed by both the maker and checker users. Additionally, the view history provides the feasibility to view the requests for a specific date range and particular Studio components as per the applied filter criteria for the selected Studio components, enabled with the request approval flow.

Apply Additional Parameters for Reports
Sigma enables you to apply additional parameters for reports by making use of simple configurable actions. You can set new parameters for your reports, so as to apply the newly added parameter value in your configured report. You can even make use of the added parameters in a sub-report, thereby paving the way for you to pass the added parameter for sub-reports.

Bulk Approval and Rejection of Maker-Checker Requests
Sigma enables you to initiate the bulk approval and rejection of the Maker-Checker Requests. The requests of the maker user can easily be approved or rejected by the checker user at the same point of time, without having to individually approve or reject the multiple requests of the maker user.

Establishing a connection with Amazon S3
Sigma enables you to connect with Amazon S3, a cloud-based object storage service where objects in the form of files or folders are stored within the buckets. Buckets are the containers, which comprise the stored objects. The stored objects can be viewed and downloaded from the buckets on the S3 cloud-based storage interface. Using Sigma, you can transfer the configured reports to the specific bucket, present in the S3 storage service.

Sigma Application Features
The configured reports in Sigma Studio can be viewed and generated in Sigma Application. With the applied parameters, the configured reports can be generated and downloaded in the applied formats in Sigma Application. The newly introduced features in Sigma Application, as part of the Sigma 20.1 release, are listed as follows:
Schedule Reports
Sigma enables you to create multiple schedules for a report on a minute, hour, daily, weekly once and monthly basis. You can even schedule multiple reports in the Sigma Application based on your needs and requirements. If you schedule the reports on a daily basis, the reports will get generated on each and every day. If you schedule the reports on a weekly basis, the reports will get generated on the selected day of the week. If you schedule the reports on a monthly basis, the reports will get generated on the selected day of the month. While you make use of the Monthly Frequency Type to schedule reports, you can additionally schedule your reports once in a fortnight or two weeks by making use of the Run on Dates option. You can even select multiple dates from the Run on Dates drop-down list and the reports will get scheduled on the selected dates. On selecting the Last Day of Month option from the Run On Dates drop-down list, the report will get scheduled on the last day of the selected month.

Delete Report Schedules
Sigma enables you to delete the report schedules of your choice. The scheduled reports in Sigma Application can now be deleted, thereby eliminating the need to track the lists of unnecessary scheduled reports. You can even edit or modify the report schedules, if a need arises to alter the scheduling frequency of the configured report schedule.
