  1. Log on to the Sigma application.


    The Information Reports workspace opens with Reports section on the left-hand side, which shows the list of reports and report groups created in Sigma Studio. The report groups are indicated in blue folder icon. In our example, the Account Transactions report group is configured in Sigma Studio.

  2. In the Reports Section, click the report group name.
    NOTE:
    Report Groups are indicated by the blue color folder icon whereas the reports are indicated by the black color folder icon.
    The Customize Group tab for the selected report group appears on the right side where you can customize the report group defined in the Studio.

  3. Enter a unique name for the group report in the Report Group Name field, e.g. Account Transactions.


    NOTE:
    By default the format defined in the Studio is selected in the Report Group Format field.
    The Report Group Format varies based on the Generate Output As option selected.

    1. If you choose Individual File option, PDF and XLS formats are supported.

    2. If you choose Single File option, PDF and XLS formats are supported.

    3. If you choose Multi Sheet option, XLS format is only supported.

  4. Select the Generate Output As category. Here, Individual file is selected as the format to be generated as an output.

  5. If suppose you want to filter the report group results based on some parameters, select the filter from the Select Filter drop-down.

  6. Click the Compress option to generate the output file in a compressed (ZIP) format, if required.

  7. Click Run to execute the report.

All the selected reports or groups are generated separately, since Individual File option is chosen for the Generate Output As field in this example.

You can view the filters and  parameters that were used for generating the report group by clicking on the report group Filters icon in the Generated Reports tab as shown in the following screen shot:
The values mapped to the criteria configured for the report group , will be available here by default.

  • If Single File is selected, all the selected reports or groups are generated separately and in addition, a single file combining all these reports or groups gets generated.

Generating Individual Reports or Report Groups in a Group Report

  1. Click the Non Executable Report Group in the left navigation, e.g. EOD Reports.

By clicking the Non Executable Report Group the report group gets expanded.

  1. Click the individual report or group to run or schedule the report or report group individually, e.g. Account Details.

  2. Perform any of the following:

  • Click dropdown button and choose Save As to create an instance of the report. The instance of the report is created under the individual report outside the report group. To override the report with custom configuration, click Save As Base.

  1. Click the Schedule tab to schedule the reports or groups. Refer to Scheduling Reports to schedule the reports or report groups. The Schedule created for the report or group report of the non executable report gets displayed for both in the report or report groups in the non executable report group and in a respective individual reports or report groups outside the non executive group report.
