To install Android Studio, perform the following steps:
Download the Android Studio from the following link: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html. The downloaded installation file (.dmg) is saved in the Downloads folder.

Note The instructions in this section are provided for the steps in the Android Studio installable that was downloaded at the time of writing this document. The screens in the installation wizard are dependent on the version you have downloaded. If you have downloaded a different version, you might have lesser or more steps in the wizard. - Double-click the Android Studio installation file. The Android Studio installation wizard appears.
- Double-click Android Studio. The Android Studio gets installed in the Applications folder.
