To create a simple report with charts as shown in the screenshot, configure the additional steps in Canvas Studio:
- Click Template Designer icon while configuring the report in Canvas Studio.
The Template Designer page appears with the list of header and footer options on the left-hand side of the page and the list of layout tabs on the right-hand side of the page. - Select the type of field from the left-hand side of the page. In this example, Report Header field is selected.
- Select chart layout ( ) tab on the right-hand side of the page. A list of existing chart apps appears on this tab.
- Drag and drop the created chart app within the design area.
- Click Save icon to save the template designer.
- Proceed with the other configurations for the report. Refer Configuring a Simple Report for more information on configuring a simple report.
