Displaying Collated Headers in Reports

eMACH-Sigma now enables you to collate the headers in reports. The headers can be collated as many times as possible.

For instance, the simple report with collated headers appears as shown in the following screenshot:

In order to generate the simple report as shown above, perform the following additional steps in eMACH-Sigma: 

1. Click a column name from the selected column(s) to choose the header.
   
   A window appears on the right-hand side of the page as shown below:
   
   
2. Click the Select Parent column drop-down and select the parent column. For example, Amount Format is chosen as the parent column for DEBIT column.
   
   
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 in order to choose the parent column for the other columns.
   

   For example,
   
   

   • Amount Format is chosen as the parent column for CREDIT column.

   

   • Account Number is chosen as the parent column for Amount Format column.
     
     

4. Perform the other actions and follow any of the steps to generate the report:
   
   

   • To execute the report, click Run.
     or
   • To save the report, click Save.
     or
   • To save and execute (generate) the report, click Save and Run.

   If you have clicked Save and Run, the generated report appears on the Generated Reports tab.
