App Tools

The App Tools are list of components that support actions relevant to the data displayed in the app.

  • Minimize: Collapses or minimizes the app. Minimized Apps can be re-opened from the App Dock.
  • Maximize: Maximizes the app by populating in a new maximized form.
  • Refresh: Refreshes the app content with latest data.
  • Export: Exports the data to the PDF, XLS, CSV, and RTF files. It also enables you to send the application data in any of the mentioned formats to a specific mail ID.
  • Print: Renders the Apps content in the print-friendly format for printing.
  • Filters: Provides the filter options that can be applied on the grid-based apps.
  • Help: Opens the window containing HTML-based online user manual for the associated app.
  • Preferences: Provides the user with the following options to customize the app. These views created by users can be set as default, removed or updated at any time as per users' need. See the section Switch View for more details.
    • Save As: Enables the user to save the current view of the app in the required name with filters, columns re-arranged or removed.
    • Revert: Enables you to revert to the default or saved view configuration and discard the unsaved changes.
    • Update: Enables you to update a saved view with the recent changes. This is applicable only when any change is made to a saved view.
    • Switch View: Switch between views.
    • Remove: Removes a saved view.
  • Expandable/Collapsible: Collapses or Expands the app.
  • Show As Toolbar: Removes the configured tools from the app header and shows it as a separate toolbar.
  • Close: Closes the App from the Sub Workspace and shows it as an icon in Apps Dock Area.
