Reporting Framework

Canvas provides a reporting framework for managing typical reporting requirements and report customization needs. The Reporting Framework does not include the reporting engine. This Reporting Framework provides a simple adapter for enabling integration with any reporting engine.

• It provides full multilingual support with integration to User Preferences module for automatic generation based on user preferred language.
• It supports logical separation from data source and allows complete control on data fetch as well as data massaging.
• It provides the ability for the users to schedule reports for automatic execution. The Default App provided to the users can monitor their scheduled reports and download generated reports.
• It provides the ability for the user to customize the fields and columns, add dynamic filters, and sorts.
• Integration with the Canvas Alert framework for notification of the generated and failed event to the user.
