Data Level Entitlements Configuration

In some scenarios, you may want an app to show data relevant and authorized for the user who is viewing it. This brings in the need to set up data level entitlements. You can now choose to do away with writing explicit code to provide user based access to data by just making a few entries in the entitlement tables and mapping the defined entitlement criteria to the View columns in App Designer or Create View Definition screen in Studio.
Advantages
This feature comes with the following benefits:
- Display all or filtered data in the same app for various users based on the user access entitlements (Product and Sub product) and the entitlement criteria defined.
- User based access to data strengthens data security and aids in easy maintenance.
