Delegation Viewer User

Sigma enables you to assign only a view-based access role for the Delegation User, which allows the user only to generate and download the reports. The Delegation Viewer User will be able to view the created reports and schedules in the Sigma Application. The Delegation Viewer User can generate and download reports, but cannot create schedules for any of the reports. Both the ad-hoc or standard and the scheduled reports can be downloaded by the viewer user.

The role matrix of the Delegation Viewer User is provided as follows:

The Delegation Viewer User can only be created in the Intellect ARX authentication system portal. Similar to the standard Delegation User, even the Delegation Viewer User can choose the different set of corporate customers in the Sigma Application or Portal to view the reports and report schedules, specific to each of the corporate customer or client. The Delegation Viewer User can also generate and download the reports, specific to each corporate client.

Before creating a delegation viewer user, you must have already created the OPVIEWER (OP_VIEWER) role in the Intellect ARX authentication system portal. When you create a delegation viewer user in Intellect ARX, ensure that you select the appropriate values for User Type, Sub-Type, Entity and Role in the User Creation screen in Intellect ARX as follows:

User Type must be Bank User.
Sub-Type must be Functional User.
Entity must be SIGMA.
Role must be OPVIEWER.

The appropriate access controls should be provided to the OPVIEWER (OP_VIEWER) role in the Access Controls screen in Intellect ARX as follows:

Role must be OPVIEWER.

The System Administrator will approve the user details and the access controls provided to the delegation viewer user on the Intellect ARX authentication system portal.

To access the reports of different corporate customers as a delegation viewer user in Sigma Application, perform the following steps:

Access the Sigma Application as a Delegation Viewer User.

The Delegation Viewer User should be created using the Intellect ARX authentication system.
After you access the Sigma Application as a delegation viewer user, click the SIGMAGCIF lookup field on the top right side of the home page to select a corporate customer.

The Create New Group option is disabled for the Delegation Viewer User. As the user is provided only with the view access, no report groups can be created by the Delegation Viewer User.

You can find the list of corporate customers, as shown in the following screen shot:
In the SIGMAGCIF lookup field, enter a specific corporate customer name and select the corporate customer, e.g. tatafn.

The available list of reports for the selected corporate customer appears under the Reports List.
Click a report and select its child instance, as shown in the following screen shot:
Select the Customize section and click Run to generate the report.

The Run is the only option that will be visible to the Delegation Viewer User. The Save As and Save As Base options will not be visible for the Delegation Viewer User, as the user has been provided only with the view access.
Click the Generated Reports tab to view the list of the generated report instances.

The list of the generated report instances will get displayed, as shown in the following screen shot:

The Delegation Viewer User can download the report using the Download option. Apart from downloading the reports, the Delegation Viewer User can also re-trigger a generated instance of a report using the Play option. Both the Download and the Play options will be visible for the Delegation Viewer User.
