Enabled role-based feature mapping for Studio Admin
Sigma enables you to create role based feature mapping for the users through Control Panel. On accessing Sigma Studio, the users can create, approve and view the studio components to which they are entitled. It is essential that the approval flow should be initiated to enable the approval privileges for that particular user.
The role matrix of the STUDIO_ROLE_MAKER and STUDIO_ROLE_CHECKER users is provided as follows:

Perform the following steps to enable role-based feature mapping for studio admin:
On the home page of Sigma Studio, click Manage > Control panel.
NOTE:
To enable the control panel in studio, map the STUDIO_ROLE_MAKER to the particular user.
The Control Panel screen is displayed as below.
Click the “+” plus icon to create a new role.
Enter a unique role id in the Role id field, e.g. STUDIO-USER.
NOTE:
The role id provided in the role id field must be mapped to that particular user.
WARNING:
Avoid using blank spaces.Enter the name for the role in the Role Name field, e.g. STUDIO USER.
Enter a description in the Role Description field.
Click the Add Features search drop-down field and select the features to map the role that requires below actions.
View – This allows only viewing the feature.Create – This allows creating, editing and deleting the feature.
Approve – Requests of that feature can be approved/rejected if approval flow is enabled. Request approval feature with view action should be configured for that role .
NOTE: To enable the Approve action in studio, map the STUDIO_ROLE_CHECKER to the particular user.Click Save icon to create the role.
A message indicating the role is added successfully is displayed.
Click Ok to close the window.
View the created roles in the left-hand side of the control panel.
