7b. View the Grid Widget

A brief overview on viewing a grid widget in your web application is provided as follows: 

  1. Log on to your web application using relevant credentials.  
  2. Access the relevant workspace, to which the grid app is mapped. You can view the data displayed on the chart app (widget). 


To create a grid app (widget) using App Designer in Canvas Studio, refer Create a Grid App. The step-by-step procedure to view a grid app in the web application is listed as follows: 

  1. Log on to the web application using your credentials. 



  2. Access the workspace to which the grid app is mapped, e.g. ACCOUNT SUMMARY DETAILS. 



    The ACCOUNT SUMMARY DETAILS app is mapped to the ACCOUNT SUMMARY DETAILS workspace. The following screen shot serves as a good illustration of the output in the functional application, Modelhouse:
