Editing Library Request
Follow the listed steps to edit an existing Library request in Canvas Studio.Â
- Select the Request Modeler tab.
- Right-click CARD_INFO and select Edit Request Modeler from the menu.
- Make the required changes in the Edit Request screen.
- Once the changes are made, click Save.
In the Workspace Menu Selection screen, enter the Workspace ID in which the request must be displayed.

1 Request Id
This is an auto-populated field that fetches the request Id that was specified in the Create New Request screen.

This is an auto-populated field that fetches the request display name that was specified in the Create New Request screen.

3 Workspace Id
Enables you to select an existing workspace in which the request is to be rendered.

- Click Ok in the pop-up window to confirm saving the configuration.

Further, the request form can be modified in terms of form components with the help of Canvas Studio – form designer. Refer Accessing Form Designer for more details on how to edit the form and the related form components. Also, refer the Submission Support Provided for Forms Designed in Form Designer section in this document for more information on the Request Modeler capabilities for supporting self-designed forms.
Form designer enables you to switch an existing form item to a different form item and the Request Modeler will render it. However, if you add any new form item, the Request Modeler will not render it. This is because the new form item will not be available while the request was created initially and hence, it was not included in the metadata created automatically by the Request Modeler. If you are self-designing forms using form designer, ensure that the form item IDs are the same as the table column names or Web service field names.Â
