Force Upgrade of Mobile Apps
Let's assume that your customers are using 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 versions of your mobile application. You can force customers who are using version 1.0 and 2.0 of your mobile application to upgrade to 3.0 version. Other scenarios when the customers are forced to update the app are:
- When the installed app has been inactive for long. The app status is determined by the implementation team.
- When the APP_KEY is not found in the CT_MOBILE_APP_MASTER table in the database, the older version app status is inactive or the entries for the older versions of the app are deleted from this table.
