Print Option for Mobile Apps

To print data represented as grids, charts and forms from the mobile apps created using Canvas, you need to:

  • Add few plug-ins
  • Enable print tool for the app via Canvas Studio
  • Connect to a wireless printer


The print tool is applicable for all view types in Canvas except Google Map, iFrame, Plugin, Tree and Shortcuts view types. However, print functionality shall not be available for the app if the print option is disabled in the tools configuration on the Create/Edit View Definition or App Designer screens in Canvas Studio. Calendar, Property Grid and Ads view types are not supported by Canvas on jQuery Mobile.
