Cloning a Form

You can clone an existing form definition to create a duplicate form instead of creating a new form from scratch.

The form ID of the cloned form will be the same, but an auto-generated random number will be appended to it. For example, let's assume that a form ID is ALERTS_DETAIL_FORM. When ALERTS_DETAIL_FORM form is cloned, the cloned form's ID will be ALERTS_DETAIL_Clone683. The last three numbers are auto-generated.

Perform the following steps to clone a form definition:

1. In Canvas Studio, click Form Definition.

The Form Definition List appears on the right-hand side.

     2. On the Form Definition List, right-click the form that you want to clone and click Clone Form Definition.

The cloned form is opened in the Form Designer.
