Creating a Multi App (Composite App)
Perform the following steps to create a Multi App in App Designer:
- In App Designer, click Multi App.
- In the Multi App Config tab, perform the following:
- Enter the App ID. App ID must not contain any spaces in between the characters.
- Enter the App Display Name.
- Enter the App Resource Bundle. If you are not using any resource bundle, enter None.
- Select the Product Code.
- Select the Sub Product Code.
- Select the Function Code.
Choose the layout for the Multi App. By default, Stack layout is selected.
In Native mobile apps, Tab layout alone is enabled for composite apps.
- Click the Apps tab.
- Enter the app title in the Search App field. As you type in the search field, the matching apps appear.
- Drag and drop the required app one-by-one to the right.
- To remove an app from the Multi App, click the delete icon () for the respective app.
- If you want to hide the Multi App title in the end application, click the Eye icon ().
- Ensure the right channels are selected for the Multi App. By default, all the channels (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet) appear selected, which means the Multi App appears on all channels.
- Click Save ().
- If all the mandatory configurations are specified, a confirmation message appears. Click OK for the confirmation message.
- Map this Multi App to a workspace in the Workspace Designer to view it the end application.
