Custom Form Components

Canvas now allows customization of form components with other templates. Canvas creates and loads the registry with the default templates for all XType components. XType refers to individual form component. Implementation teams can now specify different templates for the form components.

Benefits

With the ability to specify custom templates for form components, you can:

• Register your templates through Canvas Studio configuration and apply those templates to form components. You can then use these custom form components while designing forms in the Form Designer.
• Create channel-specific templates for form components to provide better experience to customers.
