Creating a New Canvas Project

Perform the following steps after registering the Canvas as a tenant or a sandbox user to create a new project in Canvas Studio:

You will receive a confirmation mail after tenant/sandbox user registration as shown in the following screenshot:

1. Log-in to Canvas Studio with the tenant or the sandbox user's login credentials provided on the mail.
   
   Once you login, the Create Market Place page appears by default as shown in the following screenshot
   
   
2. Click New Project.
   
   
   The Create Project screen appears as shown in the following screenshot:
   
   
3. Provide a name for the new project on the Name field. In this example, Account Dashboard is provided as the project name.
   
   

4. Select the base end application where the project must be viewed on the Parent Application Id drop-down list. In this example, CANVASBASEAPP is selected as the end application.
   
   

   • If you select CANVASBASEAPP as the application ID, a new base app will be created exclusively where you can design the application with any number of workspaces needed.
   • If you select MODELHOUSE as the application ID, you will be enabled to access the end application along with all the existing workspaces.
   • Sigma is a reporting tool, where if you choose SIGMA as the parent application ID, you will be enabled to access the reporting tool as the base application.

5. Provide a description for the new project on Description field if required.
   
   

6. Click Create.
   
   
   A success message appears.
   
   

7. Click Ok. The new project is created successfully.
