Rate

Rate is a type of form item, specifically designed for denoting the percentage of rates. When dealing with interest rates or any other fields that require percentage as an input, the Rate form item serves the purpose in a handy way. Furthermore, Rate facilitates the purpose of denoting the decimal digits, associated with the value of the overall percentage.

By default, the Rate form item allows only numbers as inputs.

  • Form Items > Data Entry > Rate.

  1. To specify the number of decimal digits for the Rate form item, click Settings icon. In the Precision drop-down list, select the number of decimal digits. You can even enter the number of your choice in the Precision drop-down list, by removing the default value of 2. The minimum assigned value for Precision is 2. You can even enter other relevant digits of your choice in Precision field.

    Info

No digits lesser than 2 will be taken into account. Suppose, if either 0 or 1 is assigned as Precision, then the entered value will get nullified and the default value of 2 will be taken into account.
